The Mayor’s Office is under fire once again as the Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) has fully embraced a woke ideology that puts the safety of children in jeopardy. This embrace of woke ideology is bound to lead to disastrous consequences, particularly with the potential for headlines about dead black and Hispanic kids on ACS’s hands – and therefore, on the Mayor’s hands.

It’s no secret that the city’s progressive leadership has allowed dangerous ideologies to infiltrate the very agencies designed to protect children. The woke ideology at ACS has put political correctness above the safety and well-being of at-risk youth, creating a recipe for disaster.
Under the current leadership, ACS has neglected its duty to prioritize the safety of all children, regardless of race or ethnicity. Instead, they have chosen to focus on adherence to woke principles, which do nothing to protect vulnerable youth from harm.
The Mayor must take immediate action to prioritize the safety and well-being of all children under the care of ACS. It’s time to put an end to the dangerous embrace of woke ideology and shift the agency’s focus back to its core mission of protecting the lives of all children in its care, regardless of the political climate.
