The government of Joe Biden is doing all in its power, regardless of whether or not abortion is legal, to assure that women in the United States can abort their pregnancies with absolutely little concern for the lives of the unborn child.
In point of fact, the cynical method that the Biden administration is taking in order to circumvent the judgment of the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade is not being taken because of some altruistic thoughts of wanting to assist women who are in peril. Oh, no.
This is a shrewd political move designed to rescue the Democrats from their current predicament and win over progressive leftists in time for the upcoming midterm elections. Uncomplicated and direct.
In spite of the fact that many states have laws that prohibit abortion in most circumstances, the Biden administration stated on Monday that hospitals are required to ensure that patients can have abortions when they are assessed to be medically essential in emergency scenarios.
It is just not possible for Biden and the Democrats to endure a setback as significant as the overturning of the Roe v. Wade decision while they are in power. Therefore, making this demand on hospitals in an effort to circumvent the order of the Supreme Court is nothing more than a public relations spectacle designed to indicate their resolve to the left.
According to the Department of Health and Human Services, a federal legislation known as the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act mandates that, in the event of a medical emergency, a physician is required to perform an abortion regardless of the state law in effect.
According to the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, Xavier Becerra, “Under the law, no matter where you live, women have the right to emergency care — including abortion care.”

The official working for Biden once stated that the administration had considered the possibility of establishing abortion tents on federal land in order to get around the judgment of the Supreme Court.

Becerra also asserted that the administration was investigating ways to spend taxpayer money in order to give women with access to abortions in other states, including funding for the women's transportation to states controlled by the Democratic Party. He objected throughout the interview to the participant who had the audacity to query whether or not this plan was legal.

The claim that women are in grave risk as a result of their inability to have abortions at elected facilities is merely a media-tested fear technique that is being used to stir up hysteria before the midterm elections. This tactic is intended to increase voter turnout.
Any pregnant woman whose life is immediately threatened by the unborn baby in her womb for whatever cause would, without a doubt, be allowed the right to undergo an abortion surgery without any questions being asked. The judgement handed down by the Supreme Court of the United States as well as the state legislation that have since been passed to outlaw the operation concern only elective abortions and not those that are necessary in the event of an emergency.
According to the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA), hospitals that participate in Medicare and Medicaid are required to offer emergency care to patients regardless of the patient's capacity to pay for it. Initially, the goal was to eliminate the possibility of individuals in need of medical attention being denied treatment owing to a lack of financial resources. The federal statute, according to the Biden administration, has precedence over all state laws, including prohibitions on life-or-health exceptions.
This decision from Sec. Becerra comes after President Biden publicly revealed that he was contemplating using an emergency health proclamation to trump the rights of individual states over abortion operations.
