Amidst ongoing tensions in the Middle East, it has been brought to light that Maher Bitar, a key individual in President Joe Biden’s administration, has strong ties to the group Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) and has exhibited pro-Palestine activism. Bitar, who currently serves as the National Security Council Coordinator for Intelligence and Defense Policy, was an active participant in SJP during his time at Georgetown University. This revelation has sparked concerns among conservative circles, as SJP is funded by Islamic groups with connections to Hamas and has been involved in violent protests and harassment of Jewish students on college campuses.
