Joe Biden told a young boy on Monday that he could steal a pumpkin to avoid his usual "boring" Thanksgiving speech.
The joke was reportedly made by Biden, who is 80 years old, during a gathering in North Carolina. He was interacting with the children of a Marine Corps mother who had just introduced the president, according to the New York Post.

Biden reportedly told the boy that his usual Thanksgiving speech would be boring. He then joked with the child and his family, who seemed to smile. The kid was allowed to do whatever he wanted to do, and he was even allowed to steal a pumpkin.
Instead of following Biden's instructions, the boy decided to stay on stage and listen to the president.
