Joe Biden’s performance in the recent debate left much to be desired, to say the least. From his vacant expressions to his rushed and incoherent responses, it was clear that something was off right from the start. It’s safe to say that Biden did not come out on top if one were to view the debate impartially.
The real turning point, however, was when Biden decided to bring up the infamous Charlottesville lie, accusing former President Donald Trump of perpetuating it. This claim had already been debunked by fact-checkers, but Biden seemed oblivious to this fact. Trump wasted no time in setting the record straight, calling out Biden’s falsehoods.

What made things even more awkward was Biden’s own conflicting statements. Despite repeatedly attributing his decision to run for president in 2020 to the events in Charlottesville, during the debate, he suddenly denied ever making such a claim. This blatant contradiction did not go unnoticed and only served to further undermine Biden’s credibility.
In the end, Biden’s performance can only be described as a disaster. His willingness to peddle debunked lies and his inability to keep his own narrative straight raise serious doubts about his honesty and competence. It’s moments like these that make one wonder how such a candidate could possibly lead the country effectively.
