Biden’s Internet Plan Fails Rural America Millions Spent No Connections Made

President Biden’s latest blunder in the tech world has conservatives rolling their eyes and rural Americans still waiting for their promised high-speed internet connection. The BEAD program, part of Biden’s trillion-dollar infrastructure plan, was supposed to bridge the digital divide and connect remote areas across the nation. However, two and a half years later, the results are as disappointing as a vegan BBQ joint.

Despite the huge sums of money allocated, the BEAD program is stuck in a bureaucratic quagmire. Astonishingly, not a single home or business has been connected through this initiative. It’s like promising a birthday cake and delivering a rice cake – unsatisfying and no one’s happy.

Federal Communications Commissioner Brendan Carr has called out the administration for their sluggish progress, highlighting the program’s failure to deliver on its grand promises. With only a handful of charging stations installed out of the promised 500,000, it’s clear that Biden’s internet plan is about as effective as a screen door on a submarine.

The BEAD application process is as convoluted as a soap opera plot, with numerous barriers and stipulations hindering states from accessing funds. From mandated union workers to DEI hiring provisions, it seems states have to jump through more hoops than a circus poodle just to get internet connectivity. And let’s not forget the unnecessary emphasis on “Equity” in the program, which seems to be causing more harm than good.

To add insult to injury, the FCC suspended an agreement with Elon Musk’s Starlink, denying service to nearly 650,000 residents in 35 states. It’s like refusing a lifeline to drowning swimmers – cruel and unnecessary. The only silver lining in this tech debacle is that some rural folks may be spared from witnessing the monumental waste of taxpayer dollars that’s been flushed down the internet drain.

In conclusion, Biden’s internet plan is about as effective as a one-legged man in a kicking contest. Let’s hope for the sake of rural Americans that this debacle gets sorted out soon because, as it stands, it’s a bigger mess than a toddler with a plate of spaghetti.
