In a shocking turn of events, the Pennsylvania Fraternal Order of Police, Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5, and the Pennsylvania State Troopers Association have all joined forces to bark some serious opposition to Judge Adeel Mangi’s nomination to the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals. And guess what? They ain’t the only ones! A whole slew of law enforcement organizations have been steppin’ up to give a big ol’ thumbs down to this nomination.

These law enforcement heavy-hitters ain’t pullin’ no punches either. They done wrote up a letter to Senate Leadership to make it clear as day that they ain’t havin’ none of this Mangi fella sittin’ on no fancy court bench. They straight up called it an “affront to all Pennsylvania law enforcement officers” that Mangi would even be considered for the gig. And lemme tell ya, they ain’t wrong. This Mangi dude is cozying up real nice to some real sketchy groups that think it’s all hunky dory to celebrate folks who done murdered a police officer. Yeah, you heard that right. They’re out here raisin’ a ruckus over Mangi’s ties to an organization that called a cop killer a “freedom fighter.”
The White House is still standin’ firm on President Biden’s pick, despite this whole shebang. And get this, the Democrats are playin’ the blame game, cryin’ “Islamophobia” at anyone who dares to oppose Mangi’s nomination. Talk about pullin’ out all the stops! But don’tcha worry, ’cause the Republicans on the Judiciary Committee ain’t sittin’ pretty. They’re roundin’ up their troops to fight tooth and nail against this whole circus. They’re throwin’ down the gauntlet and sayin’ it loud and clear that Mangi ain’t cut out for this judge business, no siree Bob! They’re settin’ the record straight that this whole hoopla ain’t about bein’ Islamophobic, it’s about standin’ up for what’s right.
