The liberal love fest known as King Charles has been dethroned! That’s right, folks, CNN’s short-lived talk show, featuring Gayle King and the controversial Charles Barkley, has officially come to an end. It seems the network has finally realized that their attempt to capture a more diverse audience wasn’t quite the slam dunk they were hoping for.
The show, which premiered last November, aired its final episode this Wednesday. While CNN claims it brought in new viewers, the ratings tell a different story. In fact, the show’s debut only drew in about 501,000 viewers, putting CNN in a distant third place behind Fox News and MSNBC. Ouch! Talk about an embarrassing loss for the liberal network.
To make matters worse, Barkley stirred up some serious controversy with his comments about former President Donald Trump. He made a not-so-subtle threat about punching anyone wearing pro-Trump gear, which didn’t exactly sit well with those who value free speech and civil discourse. But hey, what else can we expect from a network that thrives on divisive rhetoric and partisan attacks?
So, what’s next for CNN’s Wednesday night lineup? Who knows! But one thing’s for sure, there’s no shortage of liberal propaganda and biased reporting to fill the void. We can only hope that the network will come to its senses and start delivering news that doesn’t cater to the radical left. But hey, we won’t hold our breath!
