CNN Debate Moderators Slammed for Skewed Rules Favoring Biden Over Trump

CNN’s presidential debate rules set for Thursday night are causing uproar among conservatives as President Joe Biden aims to dodge accountability by potentially regurgitating debunked hoaxes.

CNN’s political director, David Chalian, clarified that debate moderators will not fact-check Biden live during the event. Shockingly, they are also forbidden from fact-checking Trump, only allowed to correct what they dub as an “egregious” falsehood.

The chosen moderators, Jake Tapper and Dana Bash are known for their extreme bias against Trump. Critics are rightfully concerned about their ability to host an unbiased debate, especially considering CNN’s track record of anti-Trump coverage that earned them the unflattering nickname of “fake news.”

Biden’s track record of spreading falsehoods during debates is well-documented. One glaring example is his claim about Hunter Biden’s laptop being Russian disinformation, which was later disproven by an FBI agent.
Conservatives are wary of three key hoaxes that may be brought up during the debate:

First, the Russian disinformation hoax, which involves allegations of CIA collusion to discredit the Hunter Biden laptop story. Biden supporters heavily pushed this narrative, including a CNN reporter whose story was later debunked.

Second the inflation hoax, where Biden attempts to downplay the impact of rising prices under his administration. Despite the White House’s attempts to spin the narrative, Americans have felt the pinch of a 20 percent price increase across the board.

Lastly, the threat to democracy hoax, where Biden portrays himself as the savior of democracy against Trump’s supposed authoritarianism. Polls indicate that more Americans trust Trump to protect democracy, highlighting Biden’s shaky claims.

Inflation, immigration, and crime remain pressing concerns for voters, with Trump leading in those areas as well. It will be interesting to see how Biden navigates these contentious issues during the upcoming debate.
