He goes on to challenge Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s suggestion of “alternative ways” to deal with Hamas, stating that the only real alternative is to “eliminate Hamas,” a sentiment he believes Israel shares. Cruz firmly asserts that every Hamas terrorist eliminated by Israel ultimately saves the lives of both Israelis and Americans.
In a fiery and passionate tone, Cruz questions the logic behind alternative strategies for dealing with Hamas, almost comically suggesting the idea of sitting in a circle with them, hugging them, and singing Kumbaya. He strongly condemns any approach that does not prioritize the elimination of these “psychopathic, homicidal, genocidal maniacs.”
