A former top lawyer for House Judiciary Committee Democrats is speaking up and calling out his party’s “elites” for being completely out of touch with reality, particularly when it comes to the border situation. Julian Epstein isn’t mincing words, folks. He’s pointing fingers at President Joe Biden, demanding a “major course correction” before the November elections. And you know what, he’s right on the money!

Illegal immigration is all the rage in the 2024 presidential campaign, and let’s be honest here, Biden’s handling of the border is far from impressive. RealClearPolling’s numbers show that Trump is leading the pack ahead of Biden by 1.8%. That’s gotta sting for the Biden camp! Epstein has pulled back the curtain, revealing that a whopping 70 to 80% of Americans are not happy campers with Biden’s open-door immigration policies. Can you blame them? We need secure borders, folks – not “come on in” signs!
It’s a sad state of affairs when only 30.6% of voters give Biden a thumbs up for his immigration strategies. Those are just rookie numbers, Joe! While the Republicans are pushing for tighter border security, some Democrats are barking up the wrong tree, wanting Biden to take on Texas over Governor Abbott’s efforts to squash illegal crossings. Seriously, Democrats, get with the program!
Epstein doesn’t hold back, noting that Biden’s blame game of pointing fingers at Republicans and Trump won’t fly any longer. The man’s got a point. Biden’s wishy-washy approach with half-hearted executive orders won’t cut it. It seems like he’s more concerned with passing the buck than protecting our borders. It’s time for action, not excuses!
And let’s not forget Biden’s recent backtrack on calling an alleged killer of a young nursing student an “illegal.” Give us a break, Joe! We need to call a spade a spade. The Senate’s missed shot at discussing foreign aid and border security is just another reminder of the mess we’re in. With over 2 million encounters with illegal immigrants in fiscal year 2023 alone, it’s crystal clear that Biden needs to tighten the ship. Epstein isn’t beating around the bush – the people want secure borders, and Biden better start listening.
It’s high time Biden stops dilly-dallying and takes a stand on protecting our borders. Epstein’s calling for swift action, and so are the majority of Americans. Secure borders aren’t a luxury – they’re a necessity. Biden needs to put on his big boy pants, forget the blame game, and start making the right decisions for our nation’s security. Let’s hope he heeds this warning and steers the ship in the right direction before it’s too late.
