A police officer in northern Virginia is under investigation after audio of sexually explicit conversations were reportedly transmitted over the department's radio system on New Year's Day.
The incident was reported to the police department of Fairfax County, which is located in northern Virginia. The transmissions reportedly happened just after midnight.
The police department stated that its internal affairs division immediately launched an investigation after learning about the incident. It was confirmed that the officer was off-duty and was in his personal vehicle.
