U.S. Border Patrol Takes Down Massive Weapons Smuggling Attempt at Texas-Mexico Border
In a daring and heroic move, officers with U.S. Customs and Border Protection intercepted a nefarious attempt to smuggle a massive cache of weapons, magazines, and ammunition across the border from Texas to Mexico. The brave officers, assigned to outbound operations at the Camino Real International Bridge, spotted a 2022 Dodge Ram 3500 that raised their suspicions and took swift action.
The vehicle was slated for inspection and, lo and behold, their instincts were spot on. A thorough inspection of the car revealed a staggering 22 weapons, 22 magazines, and a jaw-dropping 1,480 rounds of ammunition cleverly concealed in plastic totes. This discovery undoubtedly saved countless lives, and the heroic CBP officers wasted no time in seizing the illegal weaponry.
