Headlines were made last year when IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler boldly alleged that the Department of Justice meddled in an investigation of none other than the infamous Hunter Biden. You know, the son of President Joe Biden. Well, guess what? Hunter Biden wasn’t too happy about these claims and decided to sue the IRS over it. Talk about drama!
In his lawsuit, Hunter alleges that the IRS engaged in a “campaign to publicly smear” him. He just can’t handle the heat, can he? According to the Washington Examiner, Hunter argues that Shapley and Ziegler violated the Internal Revenue Code by making his private information available to the public. Oh, the horror! Apparently, he believes that the IRS purposely didn’t protect his precious information. Someone call the wambulance!

But hold on a second, the IRS isn’t taking this nonsense lying down. They fired back with a motion seeking to toss out Hunter’s lawsuit faster than you can say “conflict of interest.” The IRS points out that Hunter himself publicly announced that he was under investigation long before Shapley and Ziegler even blew the whistle. Hmm, seems like Hunter wants to have his cake and eat it too. Typical.
To make matters worse for Hunter, the IRS also highlights that his lawsuit includes allegations against the private attorneys who were working for Shapley and Ziegler. Oh, the irony. It’s quite rich that Hunter is targeting the very people who were just trying to expose the truth. But hey, when it comes to the Bidens, anything goes, right?
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any juicier, Fox News reported that Shapley and Ziegler felt vindicated after Special Counsel David Weiss slapped Hunter with a laundry list of charges. Talk about karma biting him right in the you-know-where! These brave whistleblowers described the indictment as a “complete vindication” of their investigation. Looks like they were right all along, and now Hunter has to face the consequences of his actions.
In the end, the president’s son finds himself charged with three felonies and six misdemeanors for evading a hefty $1.4 million tax bill. It’s almost comical how the Bidens always manage to find themselves in legal hot water. But hey, at least Hunter managed to scrape together enough cash to pay off that bill. It must be nice to have those deep pockets!
So there you have it, folks. Hunter Biden’s attempt to sue the IRS for daring to investigate his shady dealings has backfired. The whistleblowers are feeling pretty smug right about now, and Hunter is left to deal with the fallout of his own actions. It’s a classic case of chickens coming home to roost.
