In a surprising turn of events, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has been making big waves on the internet with her controversial X account, @Kimberl26890376. It seems that Governor Reynolds has been using this private account to share her unfiltered opinions on the GOP primary, and boy, are they spicy!

Reynolds recently made headlines when she endorsed Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida for the 2024 presidential election, and it looks like she’s not holding back when it comes to expressing her thoughts on former President Donald Trump and the Republican Party.
The governor’s secret X account has been quite the talk of the town, with reports from the New York Times revealing that Reynolds used the account to repost memes and messages that were highly critical of Trump and supportive of DeSantis. One particularly spicy post featured side-by-side photos of DeSantis with his family and Trump surrounded by women at a New Year’s Eve party, with the caption “The contrast is overwhelming.”
Not only that, but it seems that Reynolds also liked and shared posts that were critical of Trump and former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley. It’s safe to say that Governor Reynolds isn’t pulling any punches when it comes to sharing her opinions on X.
However, it seems that Reynolds’s X antics have not gone unnoticed, as X has suspended her @Kimberl26890376 account for violating the platform’s rules. The account, which was created in 2021 and had 259 followers, was reportedly toeing the line between public and private, with Reynolds not being identified as the governor of Iowa in the account. It’s clear that Governor Reynolds was trying to keep her X activities under wraps, but the internet is a vast and watchful place.
Of course, the drama doesn’t end there. Reynolds’s endorsement of DeSantis has drawn the ire of Trump, who has been quite vocal in criticizing her decision. In fact, he went so far as to say that her endorsement of DeSantis was meaningless and gave him “exactly zero bounce.” It looks like things are really heating up in the world of Republican politics, and Governor Reynolds is right in the middle of it all.
