Iranian Terrorist Caught Attempting Entry At Southern Border

An Iranian national who was on the FBI's terrorist watch list was apprehended near the southern border, Fox News reported.

The driver, Alireza Heidari, 29, was apprehended by the Texas Department of Safety after a traffic stop in Texas.

He was apprehended while he was being smuggled into the US. He was found inside the trunk of a car that was being driven by a smuggler.

Upon his arrest, he was checked into the custody of the Border Patrol. It was then determined that he was a match to the agency's terrorist database.

According to Brandon Judd, the president of the National Border Patrol Council, the arrest was made possible due to the efforts of Texas Governor Greg Abbott and the state's Department of Public Safety.

He criticized Joe Biden's handling of the situation at the border. He claimed that it put the country at risk.

He noted that if it weren't for the actions of Abbott and the Texas Department of Public Safety, Alireza Heidari would still be at large. Heidari was apprehended after he had entered the country without being detected by the Border Patrol. The arrest of Heidari was the result of Biden's political actions, which put the safety of Americans at risk.

In December, the Border Patrol apprehended 17 individuals who were identified as terrorists. This brings the total number of arrests since October to 38.

In 2022, there were over a hundred arrests on terrorist watch lists. In 2021, there were 15 arrests, and in 2020, three.
