In a shocking revelation on Monday, “The Daily Show” host Jon Stewart spilled the beans about Apple trying to hit the brakes on a podcast he was cooking up as a spin-off from his show on AppleTV+. Talk about a big tech giant trying to play censor police!
Stewart spilled the tea during a chit-chat with Federal Trade Commission chair Lina Khan, claiming that Apple put the kibosh on him interviewing her for the podcast. Can you believe that? The audacity of Apple to dictate who Stewart can talk to and what topics he can cover is just plain absurd. Why the panic, Apple? What are you trying to hide? It’s like they’re a bunch of scaredy-cats avoiding any real discussions that might ruffle some feathers.
Stewart and Khan also took a swing at Amazon and other tech bigwigs for allegedly flexing their monopoly muscles in the world of business. It’s a whole tangled web of power plays and control that these tech titans think they can get away with. It’s time to break up these behemoths and bring back some fair play in the marketplace!
