In a blow to common sense and the Republican-led fight against illegal immigration, a Trump-appointed federal judge shot down the efforts to block President Biden’s reckless migrant parole program. This program, brought to you by the Department of Homeland Security and their buddies at USCIS, allows a whopping 30,000 migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela (CHNV) to flood into the country every month and chill out for a cool two years.

Texas and a bunch of other states with their heads screwed on right tried to put a stop to this nonsense, but Judge Drew Tipton just wasn’t having it. He argued that the poor little plaintiffs couldn’t show how they were getting personally burned by this program, so tough luck, right? But come on, folks, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that this open-door policy is a disaster waiting to happen.
Reported cases show that over half a million migrants have already hopped on the welcome wagon and been granted parole under Biden’s watch. That’s a whole lot of new pals crashing on Uncle Sam’s couch! And just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, the Friday ruling noted a 44 percent drop in CHNV nationals waltzing into the U.S. since the program started. That’s right, it’s like there’s an “All-You-Can-Enter” sign hanging over our border!
The Republican states ain’t taking this lying down. They’re calling out the Department of Homeland Security for basically giving Border Patrol a long lunch break with this so-called prevention of illegal border crossings mumbo jumbo. Parole is supposed to be a golden ticket for those in real need, not an all-access pass for anyone who can spell their own name.
And what’s the deal with DHS playing coy and not responding to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s inquiries? Probably too busy throwing a party for the latest group of parolees! Someone’s gotta keep an eye on the henhouse, folks, ’cause it sure looks like the fox is running things.
