Although some of you may find this hard to swallow, the truth is that the establishment Republican Party and the NeverTrumper have teamed up to take down Donald Trump and destroy the MAGA. The former Cruz Crew members did not like Trump's personality and felt that it was embarrassing to support him.
They believe that the future of the Republican Party is with the more measured DeSantis, as he is only 44 years old and has a lot of years left to learn how to be America First. The establishment also sees him as a way to get back on track after years of trying to take down Trump.
The NeverTrumpers are also known to go on whichever bandwagon they can get on, and this is what you are witnessing right now. This is going to get worse. They have the mentality of "anybody but Trump."
According to various DC insiders, some of the Republican mega-donors are pushing for DeSantis to run against Trump. One of these individuals is Paul Singer, who is a closet liberal and globalist. In 2017, Steve Bannon revealed that one of the individuals who was pushing for DeSantis' run was Paul Singer.
Through the Washington Free Beacon, Paul Singer was able to create the infamous Fusion GPS report that detailed the various activities of Donald Trump's campaign. It was funded by the Wall Street billionaire. This was not the first time that Singer had financed anti-populist groups.
Throughout his career, Paul Singer has been known to support amnesty for illegals and third-world immigrants. He was instrumental in the passage of the 2013 "Gang of Eight" amnesty bill, and he was also a part of the group that funded the National Immigration Forum. In addition, he helped George Soros establish a non-profit organization that promotes open borders.
The rise of same-sex marriage has been attributed to the efforts of Paul Singer. He was able to influence the New York State legislature to pass a new definition of marriage. He personally lobbied for the bill. This was the first time that a major state legislature had changed the definition of marriage.
Apart from supporting same-sex marriage, his ties to the leftist agenda extend beyond this issue. Through the Human Rights Campaign, which he still continues to fund, he led a boycott of North Carolina when the state's elected officials passed a law that forbade people from using public bathrooms that correspond to their biological sex.
Paul Singer is also a big supporter of Paul Ryan, who is pushing for DeSantis to run. He claims that McCarthy, McConnell, and even Gorka were involved in this strategy, which is why the Republicans sabotaged the 2018 elections.
While all of this is happening, Donald Trump is still in the process of deciding whether or not he will run for president in 2024. His daughter-in-law Lara Trump released a statement to support Ron DeSantis.
I would like to personally thank Lara Trump for her statement. It's clear that DeSantis should not run. It's also absurd that he is entertaining this idea, as it would likely lead to the Republican Party being divided. It would allow the establishment to come back into power.
