U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and Amazon each provided $3 million towards the initiative.As part of its efforts to support“continued climate stewardship by Indigenous peoples and local communities.” the White House has now established a $2 million Indigenous Peoples Finance Access Facility.
In addition, a new programme to encourage solar and wind growth in Egypt will be launched, and the government will provide $150 million to the President's Emergency Plan for Adaptation and Resilience in Africa. The president has made the United States the "first national government" to restrict methane emissions from natural gas production by ordering providers to comply with the Paris Agreement.

There is no leadership to be found in Joe Biden. He wastes public money and caters to lobbyists. To that end, he has now announced plans to spend an additional several billion dollars combating climate change. Climate change conference COP27 is a complete joke. It's just a method for global leaders to seem to care about the environment without really doing anything about it. Joe Biden has to take charge and be the leader we've been waiting for. If we don't speed up, we'll continue to lag behind.
