In a recent post spreading like wildfire on social media, the outrageous claim that the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) only goes after enemies of the United States and Israel has been labeled as false by fact-checkers. Leave it to the left-leaning crowd to twist the truth! ISIS and its cronies have attacked not only US allies like Jordan, France, and Iraq but have also carried out heinous acts against the US and Israel themselves. For instance, during the chaotic Afghanistan withdrawal in August 2021, a devastating suicide bombing orchestrated by ISIS claimed the lives of 13 brave American service members and a staggering 170 Afghan civilians.

Let’s set the record straight – ISIS doesn’t discriminate when it comes to spreading terror. They’ve even taken credit for attacks as far as Moscow, where a chilling assault on a concert hall left at least 137 innocent people dead. The left’s narrative that ISIS only has a bone to pick with US adversaries is a feeble attempt to undermine the serious threat this barbaric group poses to the entire world. It’s time for the leftist media to stop peddling these dishonest claims and start facing reality.
If we take a trip down memory lane, we’d remember ISIS proudly boasting about their involvement in the ghastly Paris attacks of November 2015 that claimed 130 lives. The terrorists didn’t stop there; they struck fear into the hearts of innocent civilians in San Bernardino and Tel Aviv, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. And let’s not forget the Battle of Marawi in the Philippines, a city held hostage by ISIS-aligned militants for a grueling five months. These are not actions of an organization that plays favorites – they’re acts of pure evil aimed at anyone who dares to defy their twisted ideology.
Despite the liberal media’s attempts to downplay the global menace that ISIS poses, conservative voices are here to amplify the truth. The US and its allies have been engaged in a fierce battle against ISIS for years, culminating in the territorial defeat of the terrorist group in 2019. However, their malevolent activities persist, with recent bombings in Iran and the Philippines serving as stark reminders that the fight against extremism is far from over. It’s high time we call out the left’s deceitful narrative and stand united in condemning the atrocities committed by groups like ISIS.
