Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina made a bold prediction on Monday night, betting former Democratic Senator Al Franken of Minnesota $20 that former President Donald Trump would win the 2024 presidential election against President Joe Biden. The two former colleagues made the bet on “The Daily Show”, which Franken used to host, and shook hands to seal the deal.

Graham went on to explain why he believes Trump will win in 2024, citing his policies as the main reason for his support. “There are no Trump policies without Donald Trump,” Graham told Fox News’ Sean Hannity in an interview. Graham also noted that the Manhattan District Attorney’s investigation into allegations that Trump paid hush money to porn star Stormy Daniels to cover up an alleged affair will likely help the former president in 2024. “Most people on our side think it’s a never-ending effort to take a wrecking ball but Trump,” Graham told Franken. “So yeah, I think it’ll help him.”

It is clear that Senator Graham has a lot of faith in former President Trump and his policies. It is no surprise that Graham is one of the few GOP senators that have publicly endorsed Trump for president in 2024. After all, Trump’s policies have been incredibly successful for the American people and have helped to create jobs, reduce taxes, and strengthen our economy. It is also no surprise that Graham believes Trump will win against Biden in 2024, given Biden’s lack of success in his first few months in office.
The American people will have to wait and see if Senator Graham’s prediction comes true. However, it is clear that many conservative Republicans are still firmly behind the former president and his policies. It remains to be seen whether or not Donald Trump will be able to make a successful comeback in 2024, but one thing is for sure: Senator Lindsey Graham is betting on it!
