Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows made a HUGE move on Thursday that left former President Donald Trump sputtering with rage! She declared the ex-president ineligible for the 2024 presidential primary ballot under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. Can you believe it? Bellows, a Democrat herself, waltzed in and snatched Trump right off the ballot, denying him the chance to win over the people of Maine.

This decision makes Maine the SECOND state, alongside Colorado, to kick Trump off the Republican presidential primary ballot. And get this, it’s not even set in stone yet! If a court doesn’t jump in and put a stop to this Democratic shenanigans, Maine is in for a sorry sight come election time.
Before Bellows got her hands on the reins of power, she was the executive director for the American Civil Liberties Union of MaineThen she ran for the Senate as a Democrat, but was smacked down hard by Sen. Susan Collins.
Bellows managed to snag a seat in the state Senate and has been there since 2016, with her reelection in 2018 and 2020. Oh, and let’s not forget, she was also an elector for Joe Biden in the Electoral College.
Bellows has been making waves in Maine since she became secretary of state in 2020, becoming the first woman to hold the office. Booting Trump off the ballot, of course! She claims it’s all because of the January 6 Capitol riot, which she blames on Trump.
Bellows is acting like she’s so high and mighty, saying she took her decision “seriously” and yammering on about her duty. Trump’s campaign even tried to call her out, saying she’s too much of a partisan puppet to fairly decide on his eligibility.
