The northern border of the United States is starting to heat up, just like a freshly baked apple pie left cooling on a windowsill on a hot summer day. While all eyes have been on the chaos at the southern border, it seems like trouble is brewing up north too. Illegal immigrants and asylum seekers are now looking towards the Canadian border as a new entry point into the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Folks in quaint little towns near the Canadian border, like Swanton, Vt., are being thrust into the spotlight as they find themselves dealing with a surge in migrants trying to sneak their way into the U.S. It’s like a real-life game of hide-and-seek, but instead of hiding behind trees and bushes, these migrants are hiding behind serious legal troubles.
Even the local residents are feeling the heat, so much so that they’re strapping on their cowboy boots and packing heat. Yes, you read that right! Some folks are toting pistols to protect themselves from the influx of migrants making their way through the woods. It’s like the Wild West out there, except instead of cowboys and outlaws, we’ve got Border Patrol agents and smugglers.
And let’s not forget the CBP data that shows a whopping 240% increase in illegal crossings at the northern border. That’s more eye-popping than a Fourth of July fireworks display! The situation is so dire that even Border Patrol officials are telling residents to carry firearms when they go for a leisurely stroll in the woods. It’s like a real-life episode of “Survivor,” but instead of challenges and rewards, it’s all about survival and protecting what’s ours.
To make matters worse, it seems like the Biden administration is slacking off in handling this crisis. While the northern border heats up and the southern border overflows like a busted dam, President Biden and his team are twiddling their thumbs and squabbling like siblings fighting over the last cookie. It’s time for them to put on their big boy pants and deal with the mess they’ve created. America deserves better than to be a dumping ground for anyone and everyone looking for an easy way in. It’s time to secure our borders and protect our homeland, no ifs, ands, or buts about it!
