Rep. Chip Roy is shaking things up in the House, calling for Vice President Kamala Harris to face the music. He’s accusing her of breaking her oath of office by deceiving the public about President Biden’s evident mental decline and failing to use her constitutional authority under the 25th Amendment to oust him from office.
The Texas Republican isn’t stopping there. He wants his House colleagues to dig deep and find out who else in Biden’s circle knew about his condition before he stumbled through last week’s disastrous debate against a very coherent Donald Trump.
Roy isn’t mincing words: Kamala Harris should be impeached for misleading America about President Biden’s mental fitness and dodging her constitutional duty to invoke the 25th Amendment. He’s rallying House Republicans to hold hearings and expose what appears to be a massive cover-up by the Biden administration. The question on everyone’s mind: Who knew what, and when?
After the debate, Roy announced plans to introduce a resolution urging Harris to invoke the 25th Amendment and gather the Biden Cabinet to declare the president incapable of performing his duties. By the end of the day, he had filed that resolution, showing he’s serious about holding the administration accountable.
Even some Democrats are getting twitchy. Texas Rep. Lloyd Doggett is among those suggesting Biden step aside for another candidate. However, there’s no significant Democratic push to have Biden step down immediately or for the Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment. Meanwhile, Republicans are pouncing on this golden moment to argue that Biden’s unfitness for office is glaringly obvious.
Sen. J.D. Vance isn’t holding back, pointing out that Democrat elites and their media puppets are now scrambling to replace Biden on the ballot. Vance makes a solid point: If Biden isn’t fit to run for president, he certainly isn’t fit to be president. Vance insists that if Biden isn’t running again, he should resign as commander in chief immediately.
Donald Trump Jr. is echoing these sentiments, calling out the “Big Lie” perpetuated by Democrats and left-wing media that Biden was ever fit to lead. Trump Jr. and Roy agree that Democrats claiming ignorance about Biden’s mental state are full of it. Biden himself knew, and it’s an impeachable offense that he lied and covered up his condition.
Roy claims that Biden’s inner circle, including the first lady, top Democrats like Harris, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Hakeem Jeffries, were all in on the secret. The entire time, they perpetuated a charade, undermining the trust and transparency the American people deserve.
