Herschel Walker, a candidate for the Senate seat in Georgia and one of the candidates in the forthcoming runoff election, has seen a huge increase in the number of campaign contributions he has received in preparation for the impending runoff election.
On Thursday, it was projected that Walker had gathered a staggering $3.3 million in finances for the runoff election campaign he was conducting. This figure represents the amount of money that has been raised thus far.
As of Thursday afternoon, a gift of one million dollars was donated to the Republican candidate. This brings the total amount of money contributed to two million.
Walker is running for the Senate in an effort to replace the Democrat Senator Raphael Warnock, who is presently sitting in that post. Warnock never ceases bringing up the number of times he has voted the same way as Vice President Joe Biden, which is a perspective that is in direct contradiction to what is in the best interests of the people who live in Georgia.
During this time, the Democratic National Committee has pledged $7 million to help promote Warnock’s candidacy for office.
