White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre condemned Tucker Carlson’s reporting of footage from the infamous January 6 Capitol riot during Thursday’s press briefing, effectively taking CNN’s side on the issue. “Look, we believe with the chief of the Capitol Police and the many lawmakers from both parties who have criticized this false portrayal of the violent attack on our Constitution and the rule of law that killed police officers,” said Jean-Pierre, catering to the liberal media’s agenda.
Jean-Pierre condemns Tucker Carlson for telling "a false depiction" about January 6 and then says it was "a violent attack that cost police officers their lives."

It should be emphasized that Jean-Pierre's assertion lacks significant proof. Contrary to the claim made, no law enforcement officer lost their life while on duty during the January 6 riot. The only casualty linked with the incident was Officer Brian Sicknick, who passed away due to natural causes a day after the event. Jean-Pierre's declaration serves as an instance of the Biden Administration promoting unsubstantiated notions that align with its agenda.

Meanwhile, Attorney General Merrick Garland shrugs off Tucker Carlson’s report and the new Jan 6 video, stammers through his response, and bizarrely maintains that “five officers died.”

Attorney General Merrick Garland also contributed to creating a climate of apprehension regarding the January 6 riot by making a statement that suggested that the event was more violent than it actually was. He claimed that "Over 100 officers were assaulted on that day, five officers died." However, Garland's assertions are simply not accurate. Although some officers did sustain injuries on that day, there were no fatalities beyond Officer Sicknick, who, as previously noted, did not perish due to an attack. Therefore, Garland's comments can be classified as falsehoods.
Once again, the discrepancies between the government's communication and the truth expose the unscrupulous attempts of the Biden Administration to promote selective morality to advance their political goals. They are determined to exploit the January 6 riot to depict conservatives and Republicans as radical extremists, and those who disagree with them as opponents of democracy. These unfounded allegations exemplify how far the left is willing to go to preserve their authority, regardless of the consequences.
