A new poll shows that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has the highest approval rating among all major political figures in the country. The survey was conducted by the Center for American Politics, Harris Poll, and the HarrisX from October 12 to 13.
The survey was conducted to find out which political figures Americans have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of.
Many people believe that DeSantis is the future of the Republican Party due to his handling of Hurricane Ian. His performance has also earned him the praise of prominent political figures such as Joe Biden.
There were some other interesting takeaways in this poll.
The public believes that the Republican Party is focused on the issues that Americans care about most, such as immigration, the economy, and inflation. Democrats, on the other hand, are perceived as being disconnected from voters due to how party leaders were not addressing issues that the public identified as important.
Voters were more likely to support the Republican Party due to Biden's student loan bailout. Only 24% of the respondents said that it affected their vote.
The results of the survey revealed that the public opposes Biden's energy agenda. Most of the respondents believe that the country should focus on energy independence and lower prices, while some think that it should raise concerns about climate change and gasoline prices. A majority of voters blame Biden for the high gas prices.
According to the survey, 65% of Americans think that the country should take a slow and gradual approach to transitioning to new types of fuel. The same percentage of voters also said that the administration should increase domestic energy production instead of easing sanctions on Iran and Venezuela.
The results of the survey also revealed that a majority of voters think that Biden is too old to serve as president. Over 60% of the respondents also said that they have doubts about his mental fitness.
