TikTok Invader Facing Gun Charges, No More Squatting Freebies!

An illegal alien who became a social media sensation on TikTok for encouraging others to invade American homes and take advantage of squatters’ rights is in hot water with immigration officials. The Venezuelan national, Leonel Moreno, who has been living in the United States illegally, is now facing federal gun charges, as reported by the New York Post.

According to the report, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is working with ICE to investigate Moreno. Although the specific charges have not been disclosed, sources say they may relate to a section of the Gun Control Act that prohibits individuals on parole from possessing, shipping, or receiving firearms or ammunition.

Moreno entered the United States unlawfully in 2022, and shockingly, the Biden administration allowed him to remain in the country under a parole program. However, his luck ran out when he was apprehended on the outskirts of Columbus, Ohio, on March 29 for failing to attend mandatory check-ins and his provocative social media posts.

In response to his arrest, the Geauga County Jail has confirmed that Moreno is currently in their custody. This development comes after Moreno’s infamous TikTok video, in which he unashamedly proclaimed, “If a house is not inhabited, we can seize it,” and bragged about his “African friends” who had allegedly seized seven homes. He even hinted at making home invasion his “next business.”

Following the video’s viral spread, ICE detained Moreno, and he is now facing federal charges, reportedly apprehended in Gahanna, Ohio. Concurrently, around the time of Moreno’s controversial actions, Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis signed a law abolishing squatters’ rights in the state.

Expressing his strong disapproval of illegal immigrants exploiting the system, Governor DeSantis highlighted the seriousness of the matter. He firmly declared, “We even have illegal aliens taking to social media instructing other foreigners how to come into this country and commandeer property. They have gotten involved in this.” Governor DeSantis emphasized that such illegal practices, acceptable in liberal enclaves like New York and California, won’t be tolerated in Florida and affirmed the state’s commitment to ending the squatters’ scam for good.
