Trump May Miss Son’s Graduation Due to Ongoing Trial

New York Supreme Court Judge Juan Merchan still hasn’t given the green light for former President Donald Trump to attend his son Barron’s high school graduation. Trump’s team requested that he be excused from his trial on May 17, as the graduation is taking place in Florida. However, Merchan has yet to make a ruling on the matter. The trial, initiated by Democrat Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, has accused Trump of falsifying business records and could lead to significant penalties if found guilty.

Trump has denied all charges against him and has deemed the trial as “political prosecution.” And it’s not just Trump’s entourage that holds this view – others have described the trial as “election interference”. It’s certainly not the typical high school graduation hassle that one would expect – and that includes Trump’s long-time adviser Jason Miller, who has labeled the trial as “disgusting” and “nothing but a political attack.”

In sum, what promised to be a special day for the Trump family could potentially turn into a hassle with the law.
