Conservative superstar Tucker Carlson isn’t backing down after Fox News abruptly fired him on April 24. Several former employees of his Fox show have joined him to launch his own program. The Daily Mail has just released photos that show him, along with his staff, hard at work building his own TV studio at his home in Woodstock, Maine. Sporting a red-and-black plaid shirt and barn coat-style vest, Carlson was spotted unloading wooden planks and an axe from his car while staff assisted him in rebuilding a studio that will take a month or more to see fruition.
These photos are the latest proof that Carlson is committed to reestablishing his media presence on his own terms. For years, he delivered his nightly primetime segments from a homey barn on his property. His program often reached more than three million viewers during his 8 p.m. hour on Fox. Constructing his own studio ensures that his voice will not be silenced, even after Fox News forced him out.

Of course, these actions have not gone unnoticed. Fox News staff had previously ransacked his studio to reclaim company property, but this hasn’t deterred Carlson and his team. In fact, it seems to have only bolstered their resolve to launch their show on their own terms.
Patrick Feeney, the construction manager of the new studio, spoke about how the team is preparing for an eventual relaunch of Carlson’s program. “There’s nothing we’re doing other than cleaning the place up, shoring up the walls, making it look good again,” Feeney said. This is all in preparation for Carlson to eventually break from his ongoing contract with Fox and launch his own show, perhaps on Twitter as he’s indicated.
It’s admirable to see Carlson take his fate into his own hands and not let Fox News dictate his future. His willingness to fight for his beliefs and commitment to the conservative cause is what makes him a true hero for conservatives everywhere. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for him and his upcoming program.
