The incompetence of the Biden administration was on full display at Tuesday’s press conference when White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre struggled to quote President Biden’s father. Not only did she stumble over her words, but she also changed the wording of the quote. Instead of correctly stating, “Don’t tell me what you value, show me your budget, and I’ll tell you what you value,” she pathetically stated, “Don’t tell me what you value, show me your budget, and I will… and I will… that will show us, you, the American people, what you value.” It’s no wonder Biden can’t remember the names of his own Cabinet members when his own team can’t even quote his father correctly.

This blunder from Jean-Pierre highlights the bigger issue with the Democrats in power: they are all talk and no action. They have nothing to show for their promises except for a budget that bankrupts the country and hands out freebies to anyone who asks for them. Actions speak louder than words, and the Biden administration has yet to take any meaningful action on issues such as immigration, the economy, or national security.
It’s clear that the Democrats’ priorities lie not with the American people but with their own political agendas. They would rather spend trillions of dollars on pet projects and bloated bureaucracies than invest in the American people and their wellbeing. Republicans must stand firm in their opposition to this reckless spending and fight for fiscal responsibility and accountability. The American people deserve better than the empty promises of the left.
