WATCH: Lawmaker Makes SHOCKING Mistake During Debate

It is impossible for her to have meant to say that.

During her debate against her Republican opponent Tyler Kistner on Thursday morning, Democratic Representative Angie Craig made a gaffe that will live in infamy for all time. Craig is seeking a third term as the representative for Minnesota's second Congressional district.

She exclaimed, to astonished silence, I will never simply stand up for Big Pharma and standing with my constituents! The audience was speechless.

After the discussion, a video of the statement quickly went viral, and it will almost certainly be used in a Kistner campaign advertisement.

A rematch of the election that took place in 2020, which Craig won by a margin of 9,580 votes, or slightly over 2 percentage points, will take place in the campaign to represent the southern half of the Twin Cities. On the other hand, the district is now regarded as a coin flip due to the fact that Republicans appear to be on the verge of taking control of the House of Representatives in the United States. According to the polls, they are almost tied for first place.

Kistner is a former member of the United States Marine Corps who completed four deployments in other countries. He has chastised Craig for his past statements in which he advocated for the defunding of police departments.

During the discussion, the candidates discussed a variety of topics, including abortion, guns, and the economy. Craig made an effort to associate Kistner with former President Trump.

You support life, Donald Trump, and the right to bear arms, Craig told him. You come up here and try to act like the lad next door, but you're too radical for Minnesota's 2nd District.

Kistner retaliated by making a connection between Craig and President Biden.

Are you able to make it through another two years under the leadership of Joe Biden and Angie Craig? If not, do you want want the next two years to serve as a check and balance on these disastrous policies, and do you want to ensure that the beginning of the next two years will find us back on the road to recovery and prosperity?  Kistner posed this question to the group gathered in Rosemount at Dakota County Technical College.

Paula Overby, who was running for the position of candidate for the Legal Marijuana Party Now, passed away earlier this month.
