Due to the rising cost of living and the housing crisis, many Americans are fleeing the country to Mexico. According to a report by the Ny Post, there has been a record number of Americans moving to Mexico.
Officials in Mexico reported that the number of visas issued to US citizens increased by 85% in the first nine months of this year. The report stated that the number of people moving to Mexico has reached its highest level in seven years. Over 1,500 Americans have chosen to settle in Mexico City. This is 19% more popular than the other popular Mexican tourist destinations such as Puerto Vallarta and Cancun.
The number of people receiving permanent residency status in Mexico also increased by 48% in 2019. This comes after many Americans have been found to cross the border for cheaper supplies.
News Nation reported that some people are reportedly planning on driving to the nearest gas station in their neighborhood to get cheaper fuel. Due to the high prices in Texas, some drivers have reportedly started filling up their tanks in Mexico.
In Mexico, a liter of gas costs around 16 pesos, which is about three cents cheaper than in the U.S.
It is very embarrassing that Americans are leaving the country due to the actions of Joe Biden, as the country is in disarray and is struggling with its economic situation. The rising cost of living is also making it difficult for people to make ends meet. It’s time for Biden to wake up and realize that he has let the country down.
