In a shocking turn of events, President Biden has authorized air and missile strikes against Houthi targets in Yemen. Can you believe it? The Democrats are turning a blind eye to the Constitution once again! Biden’s decision to launch these strikes without the approval of Congress is a clear violation of Article I. But hey, who needs checks and balances when you’re a Democrat?
It’s not just Republicans who are fed up with Biden’s unilateral actions. Even some House Democrats are speaking out against him. U.S. Rep. Ro Khanna is demanding that the President come to Congress before launching any strikes. It’s refreshing to see a Democrat actually care about the Constitution, even if it’s just for political points.

And let’s not forget about U.S. Rep. Val Hoyle, who believes that every president should seek authorization from Congress before using military force. It seems like common sense, but apparently Biden missed that memo. It’s almost as if he thinks he’s above the law.
But the criticism doesn’t stop there. Biden is also facing backlash from the progressive wing of his own party. U.S. Rep. Cori Bush, always one to play the victim card, is claiming that the American people don’t want our taxpayer dollars going towards “endless war.” Well, I hate to break it to you, Rep. Bush, but sometimes we need to take action to protect our national security and the safety of our allies. It’s called being a leader.
According to Pentagon officials, the strikes targeted Houthi-controlled military sites that have been attacking international maritime vessels. The President made it clear that these strikes were necessary to protect freedom of navigation in one of the world’s most vital waterways. But of course, the Houthi regime is vowing to respond, threatening both the Americans and the British. Isn’t it lovely when terrorists make empty threats?
Let’s not forget the bigger picture here. These strikes come after weeks of attacks on Israeli vessels. And guess what? The Democrats did nothing. It’s no surprise that Biden’s policy towards the war between Hamas and Israel has been a disaster. The fact that he’s facing criticism from his own party is just icing on the cake.
So, there you have it. Another day, another example of Democrats trampling on the Constitution and putting our national security at risk. It’s no wonder why conservatives are so frustrated. We need leaders who will uphold the law and protect our interests, not make decisions based on political agendas. But hey, I guess that’s too much to ask from the current administration.
