President Joe Biden, who loves to talk about his Catholic background, recently made a move that got folks questioning his religious side. Looks like his efforts to keep up his churchy image are falling flat.
So, what exactly did Biden do this time? Well, he decided to proclaim Easter Sunday as the “Transgender Day of Visibility.” Yep, you heard that right. While most people were celebrating one of the holiest days in Christianity, Biden was busy pushing forward an agenda that folks are finding hard to swallow.
In his proclamation, Biden praised the “courage and contributions” of transgender Americans, claiming they deserve all the love and support in the world. But to many conservatives, including House Speaker Mike Johnson, this move was a slap in the face to the true meaning of Easter – the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Critics like Johnson are calling out the White House for skipping the religious parts of Easter, even going so far as to ban religious art at a fun Easter egg contest. And now, declaring Easter as something completely different? Outrageous!
Folks like Evangelist Franklin Graham aren’t holding back either. They see Biden’s actions as a direct attack on Christian values, accusing him of celebrating sin instead of upholding traditional beliefs. Disrespecting a sacred day like Easter? Not a good look, Mr. President.
But of course, the White House has its defenders. Spokesman Andrew Bates brushes off the criticism, claiming Biden is all about unity and respecting every American’s rights. While that sounds good on paper, many are scratching their heads, wondering if Biden is really standing up for his faith or just pleasing a certain group of people.
