Former Vice President Mike Pence is inching closer to announcing his candidacy for president in 2024. During the interview, Pence expressed his concern for the country and noted his family’s credentials as leaders in politics. He also mentioned that he would be visiting Iowa and California, two important battleground states, in the upcoming weeks. Pence has been touring around the country on his “Saving America From the Woke Left” tour, addressing issues facing the conservative movement.
The former Vice President has also recently commented on the possibility of Donald Trump running for President in 2024. Unlike some other Republicans who have already announced their support for Trump’s potential run, Pence declared that he wants to leave the decision up to the voters.
Pence’s decision to run for president is sure to ruffle feathers within the Republican party. Many Trump supporters blame Pence for not overturning the results of the 2020 Presidential election, which led to the January 6th Capitol riots.
