Gaza Crisis Unravels Dems, Jayapal Blasts Biden’s Israel Aid

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is turning into a hot mess and is causing quite the stir among Democrats. Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) is not mincing words, folks. She’s sounding the alarm, warning that as the situation in Gaza gets uglier, it’s going to be tougher to patch things up among the lefties.

The United States is swooping in with a fresh batch of bombs for Israel, because apparently the country needs more firepower in its tango with Hamas. President Joe Biden is all like, “Hey, Israel, how about pressing pause on the kabooms so the poor Palestinians can get some aid?” But his haters are all, “Dude, you’re supplying the military muscle to Israel and talking peace? That doesn’t compute.”

Jayapal is all fired up, telling CNN’s Manu Raju that the whole Gaza thing is causing a rift in the Democratic coalition. She’s like, “We need to get our act together, but this is a moral dilemma, people! There’s no time to waste, and as things go south in Gaza, it’s gonna be even harder to rally the troops.”

And let me tell ya, Jayapal’s not the only one in the Dem crew who’s got beef with Biden’s handling of the crisis. Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) are right there with her, demanding that Biden step it up and put the kibosh on Israel’s military moves that have reportedly offed over 30,000 Palestinians. Yikes!

What’s more, Biden’s refusal to cut off the military aid to Israel could spell trouble for his reelection bid. If the “undecided” crowd from the primaries decides to keep up the heat, it could cramp his style come November. Jayapal’s throwing up the warning flag, saying that the Dems are split down the middle on how to deal with Israel as the situation in Gaza goes from bad to worse. Cue the drama, people!
