GOP-Lead House Announces EPIC New SCOTUS Investigation

According to Fox News, the House Judiciary Committee will continue investigating the leak of the draft opinion regarding the case of Jackson Women's Health Organization v. Dobbs.

The Supreme Court said Thursday that it did not find the person who leaked the information about Judge Ruth Dobbs. An anonymous source told Fox News that the House Judiciary Committee was looking into the matter.

Fox News reported that Jim Jordan, the chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary, said that the panel would investigate the leak of information. This week, it was reported that the Supreme

Court had narrowed down the possible suspects to a small group. The court then released a document revealing the results of its investigation, which indicated that it was unable to identify the person who leaked the draft opinion. In a statement on May 3, 2022, Chief Justice John Roberts said that an investigation would be carried out regarding the leak.

In his statement, Roberts said that the leak of information would not be able to affect the operations of the court. He noted that the person who did it was trying to undermine the court's confidence.

Jordan and the House Judiciary Committee did not respond to a request for comment.
