After Hamas launched a surprise terrorist attack on Israel, resulting in the deaths of over 1,400 people, Israel responded by cutting off essential resources like water, electricity, and fuel to the Gaza Strip. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East has expressed concerns about the severe water shortage in Gaza, stating that it is affecting the overall quality of life in the region. But it’s important to recognize that this crisis is caused by Hamas’ actions, not Israel’s retaliation.
The Left-leaning outlet, as usual, is quick to blame Israel for the suffering of Gaza’s citizens. However, let’s not forget that it was Hamas who chose to carry out a surprise attack and continue to hold over 200 hostages. It is Hamas who should be held accountable for the dire situation in Gaza, not Israel. Instead of focusing solely on blaming one side, the media should strive for a more balanced and accurate portrayal of the events taking place in the region.
