Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-AR) stands up for common sense in driver’s license gender policy
In a bold move that has liberals in a tizzy, Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-AR) has courageously defended a recent revision to the state’s driver’s licenses and IDs, slamming it as “common sense.” This revision, announced by the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration, puts a stop to the madness of allowing anyone to change their gender on their license without any credible evidence, or worse, to use the symbol “X” instead of identifying as male or female.

“I mean, seriously folks, it’s just common sense,” declared the fearless Governor. “Let’s face it, only women can give birth, men have no business competing in women’s sports, and there are only two genders. As long as I’m Governor, Arkansas won’t be endorsing all this nonsensical gender confusion.”

For those already holding a license or ID with a gender different from “male” or “female,” fear not — your licenses will remain valid until they’re up for renewal. But don’t expect to bypass the new rules when renewing, as you’ll have to abide by the DFA’s new guidelines.
Backing up the Governor’s stance, DFA Secretary Jim Hudson asserted that the revision is a step toward issuing IDs “based on objective, verifiable information.” Finally, some good old-fashioned facts and reason are making a comeback!
Pursuing the path of sanity, Arkansas has followed in the footsteps of Florida, which recently made the bold move to stop allowing gender changes on driver’s licenses for transgender individuals. The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles made it crystal clear that falsifying one’s gender on a driver’s license is nothing short of fraud. Bravo, Florida!
And let’s not forget Gov. Sanders’ heroic action last year when she put a stop to the use of “ridiculous words” intended to “erase women and girls.” Say goodbye to the ludicrous terms like “pregnant people,” “laboring person,” and “birth giver.” The Governor’s dedication to preserving language that accurately reflects biological reality is truly commendable.
It’s about time someone had the courage to stand up for common sense and put an end to the left’s relentless assault on truth and reason. With leaders like Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders blazing the trail, there’s hope yet for a return to rationality in our great nation. Keep fighting the good fight, Governor!
