Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) spoke out on Sunday, making it crystal clear that if former President Donald Trump makes a glorious return to the White House, he’ll put a stop to the outrageous influx of illegal immigrants into the U.S. Barrasso pointed out that the country needs to elect Trump for president and secure Republican majorities in the House and Senate if they want to slam the brakes on illegal immigration at the southern border.

In a fiery appearance on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo, Barrasso didn’t hold back, criticizing President Joe Biden’s spineless apology for daring to call the suspect in Laken Riley’s murder case an “illegal” immigrant. Barrasso pointed out that the suspect, who hails from Venezuela, was, in fact, here illegally and under the shelter of Biden’s lax policies. The nerve!
With the wind of Trump’s endorsement at his back, Barrasso hammered home the message that the Republicans are the ones to lead the charge in cutting off the flow of tempting freebies that bring illegal immigrants to our country. He called out the free rides, free meals, and free cash doled out to those who break the law, vowing that it’s all going to come to an abrupt halt under President Trump and a Republican-led Congress.
House Speaker Mike Johnson also didn’t hold back, accusing Biden of caving to his base and urging him to man up and apologize to Riley’s grieving parents. It’s about time the president faced the music and recognized the devastating consequences of his lenient immigration policies.
As the nation gears up for what promises to be an epic showdown between Trump and Biden in the next presidential election, immigration is shaping up to be the battleground issue. It’s clear that if we want a shot at some real change on the border, Trump and the Republicans are the ones to deliver it.
