In a much-anticipated address from the Oval Office, President Joe Biden attempted to tackle the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine. However, if there is one thing that can be said about Biden’s speech, it’s that it was predictably terrible.
From the very beginning, it was clear that Biden was struggling to articulate his thoughts and provide any kind of coherent strategy. He stumbled over his words and seemed unsure of what he was even trying to say. It was a painful display to watch.
But what was even worse than Biden’s lack of clarity was his complete misunderstanding of the situation on the ground. He seemed to think that the conflict was solely about Israel’s right to defend itself, completely ignoring the fact that Hamas has been launching rocket attacks against Israeli civilians for weeks.
It was a classic case of moral equivalence, with Biden equating the actions of Hamas, a terrorist organization, with the actions of the Israeli Defense Forces. This kind of false equivalency is not only intellectually dishonest, but it also undermines Israel’s right to defend itself and perpetuates a dangerous narrative that legitimizes terrorism.
Overall, Biden’s address was a complete failure. It showcased his lack of leadership, his inability to understand complex geopolitical issues, and his willingness to throw one of our closest allies under the bus. It’s just another example of why Biden is not fit to be President, and why we need strong conservative leadership in the White House.
