In a scorching letter, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) blasted the White House for playing a game of hide and seek when it comes to cooperating with the committee’s inquiries into the Republican-led impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. He’s not pleased, not in the least!

Comer ain’t beatin’ around the bush, folks! He’s throwin’ demands left and right, asking White House counsel Richard Sauber to pony up some answers by next week or else face the consequences. And let’s just say, the chairman isn’t exactly knitting a sweater for the White House’s next Christmas gift.
Last month, Comer fired off a list of requests to the White House, including juicy details about Biden’s overseas chitchats with bigwigs for his son and brother. Comer’s not mincing words, saying ol’ Joe is obstructing Congress’ oversight efforts and even hinting that the big guy might be treading in “impeachable offenses” territory. Yowza!
The Kentucky Republican is also barkin’ up the National Archives and Records Administration’s tree, accusing the White House of putting a lid on certain documents, like unedited emails where Joe used secret code names to chat with Hunter’s business buddies and drafts of a speech Joe made in Ukraine. It’s a real cat-and-mouse game, folks!
Now, a senior Democratic aide is trying to rain on Comer’s parade, saying that the National Archives has actually been a peach and churned out over 20,000 Biden-related documents. But Comer’s not buying it, folks! He’s grousing about receiving what he calls “reams of junk emails.” Ouch!
The drama ain’t stoppin’ there, friends! The White House recently fired back, saying the impeachment investigation is signed, sealed, and delivered. They’re basically saying, “Move along, nothing to see here, folks!” But Comer isn’t having any of that. His claws are out, and he’s reminding the White House that they don’t call the shots. In the grand scheme of things, House Republicans are not exactly chomping at the bit to throw Joe Biden into the impeachment ring. Sure, Comer’s been waving the flag about how Hunter and James made a fortune rubbin’ elbows overseas, but he hasn’t sealed the deal on the president’s alleged wrongdoings. It’s a real nail-biter, folks!
