The Israel Defense Forces made a bold move over the weekend by arresting around 100 people during their raid of Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, Gaza. This isn’t the first time the IDF has taken action at a hospital, as they had previously raided Al Shifa Hospital in November 2023. Tunnels were found under Al Shifa Hospital, showing the world Hamas’ sneaky strategy of using hospitals as a cover for their malicious activities.
The IDF didn’t just randomly pick people to arrest — those nabbed were suspected of terrorist activity, including over 20 individuals with ties to the horrific attack on Oct. 7, 2023, which led to the deaths of 1,200 civilians in Israel. Nasser Hospital was put on the IDF’s radar back in December due to suspicions of connections to Hamas. It’s clear that the IDF is doing everything in its power to take down the terrorists who threaten the safety of innocent civilians.

The Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry released a statement backing up the hospital staff, claiming they were just doing their “professional humanitarian duty” in treating the sick and wounded. But let’s be real here, folks – we know all too well that Hamas and its cronies will say anything to make themselves look like the good guys.
President Joe Biden, not surprisingly, butted in to express his disapproval of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision to take action in Rafah. He’s encouraging Israel to hold off on any “massive land invasion” there until they figure out a way to evacuate civilians and hostages. It’s important for Israel to defend itself, but leave it to Biden to stick his nose into other countries’ business.
The conflict between Israel and Hamas has resulted in tragic loss of life, with over 27,000 Palestinians dead since Oct. 7. And while it’s terrible that innocent lives have been lost, let’s not forget that Hamas is holding 130 hostages in Gaza. It’s clear that Israel is doing what it can to protect its people, while Hamas continues to use innocent civilians as human shields. Keep up the good fight, IDF.
