However, the real spotlight is on Trump’s outstanding win, with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis dropping out of the race and throwing his full support behind the Trump campaign. Even with DeSantis’s endorsement, recent polls continued to show Trump emerging as the clear frontrunner, with former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley trailing behind him.
It’s no secret that Trump’s popularity remains at an all-time high, with Decision Desk HQ (DDHQ) declaring him the winner early in the evening, and RealClearPolling showing him maintaining a significant lead over Haley.
