House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) recently made some outrageous claims during an appearance on CNN. Despite the mountain of evidence tying President Biden’s family to an influence peddling scheme involving foreign nationals, Jeffries had the audacity to declare that any impeachment of Biden would be “illegitimate.” Can you believe it?
When asked about the allegations against the president and his family, Jeffries enthusiastically came to Biden’s defense, proclaiming that the American people know he is a “decent man.” Well, isn’t that convenient? It seems like Jeffries is more interested in protecting his political ally than in getting to the truth.
But let’s not forget, this is the same Hakeem Jeffries who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump not once, but twice. So it’s really no surprise that he would dismiss Republican efforts to hold Biden accountable as “illegitimate.” It’s just another example of the hypocrisy we’ve come to expect from the left.

Jeffries even goes so far as to refer to Trump as an “illegitimate president” and peddle conspiracy theories about Russian collusion. I mean, come on! The Russian collusion hoax has been thoroughly debunked, but that doesn’t stop Jeffries from endorsing its most insane elements. It’s clear that he’s more interested in pushing his own narrative than in dealing with the facts.
And let’s not forget, Jeffries has a habit of throwing around the word “illegitimate.” He’s not only used it to describe Trump, but also the conservative-controlled Supreme Court. It’s a word he likes to use when he doesn’t get his way or when he wants to delegitimize those who disagree with him. It’s just another example of the divisive rhetoric we see from the left.
It’s time for the American people to see through these partisan games and demand accountability. The evidence against Biden and his family is piling up, and it’s only fair that a formal impeachment inquiry be launched. We can’t let politicians like Hakeem Jeffries protect their friends at the expense of the truth. The American people deserve better.
