Biden’s Racial Flip-Flop: From Segregation Foe to Anti-White Crusader

President Joe Biden’s complicated track record on race has come under fire from conservative critics who accuse him of flip-flopping and promoting anti-white rhetoric. In the 1970s, Biden, then an influential East Coast senator, vehemently opposed busing to desegregate schools, calling for a constitutional amendment to ban the practice. His comments at the time sparked controversy, with many labeling his stance as racially insensitive.

Fast forward to today, and Biden is now being criticized for what conservatives see as pandering to minority communities and pushing a “pro-minority agenda” that reportedly includes open borders and appointing judges with “weak backgrounds” to high courts. According to critics, Biden’s portrayal of himself as a champion of civil rights is disingenuous and purely a political play to maintain power.

Jeremy Carl, the author of the upcoming book “The Unprotected Class: How Anti-White Racism is Tearing America Apart,” slammed Biden as an example of how moderate white Democrats have allegedly transformed into “anti-white extremists” to cling to power. He argued that Biden’s actions have sparked a backlash, particularly among Republican white individuals who are fed up with what they perceive as unfair attacks on their race and identity.

Carl’s book, published by Regnery, delves into what he describes as the erasure of white people from American culture, citing the removal of statues and the portrayal of minorities as the majority in media and entertainment. He advocates for a concept he dubs “whiteshifting,” in which white people and minority individuals who identify with whites unite to create a “new American majority ethnicity,” harkening back to a time when Americans of European descent banded together in the 1950s.

He suggests that a net-zero immigration policy would aid in achieving this goal, arguing that low immigration rates in the 1950s facilitated a unified American identity characterized by high fertility and marriage rates across all groups. Carl contends that this historical example serves as a model for a cohesive American identity and argues that a resurgence of such unity is currently underway, evidenced by shifts in political alliances among minority communities previously aligned with Democrats.

In Carl’s view, it is a positive development for democracy that traditional political coalitions are fragmenting and new alignments are taking shape, pointing to recent polling data indicating a potential shift in support for President Biden among Asian, Hispanic, and black voters. He sees this evolution as a harbinger of a reconfiguration of political alliances, potentially leading to a more diverse and dynamic political landscape.
